Cake Topper Care Tips!

To ensure that you can enjoy your lovely cake toppers for a long time, please keep the following care tips in mind:

Placement: Dooielou cake toppers are not designed for the card part of the topper to be touching or placed directly onto buttercream or other soft frostings and foods. This is because the oils in them can be absorbed and cause damage to the card topper. Please use their wooden dowels to insert them into your foods. This will provide stability and prevent any potential damage to the topper!

Storage: Our cake toppers make great keepsakes! After use, store the cake topper in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight or excessive heat. If possible, store them back in their original plastic packaging slip to help keep them protected.

Handling: When handling the cake topper, ensure your hands are clean and dry to avoid transferring oils or dirt onto them. Hold the topper by its food-safe wooden stick to minimize the risk of bending or breaking delicate elements.
